A wealthy novelist is blasted home by a heart attack. The will is not yet opened that the greedy heirs set the tone of this vaudeville as comical as fierce. As innocent as hilarious, a young merry widow (Amandine Noworyta), a daughter (Virginia Stevenoot) married to a greedy husband (Bernard Menez), a neighbor doctor who wants to take the opportunity to expand his apartment, an upset employee of a funeral company, a  pigeon banker are all coloured and cynical characters who play a joyful show around a coffin not yet closed ... with a dead ... not so dead!

 

The dark humor and grace of the author with dialogues that are often reminiscences of Feydeau, Mirabeau or Anouilh.

In the role of the husband, unscrupulous businessman in financial trouble stars actor Bernard Menez, well known for his comic talent.
